Michael Turquette
Michael is a retired Linux kernel hacker turned business executive. He runs BayLibre, a French software engineering consultancy focused on embedded Linux, Android and RTOS such as Zephyr. Managing a team of close friends and open source rockstars as well as having access to great French food and wine has taken the sting out of replacing software with slideware in his professional life. Prior to BayLibre, Michael worked at Linaro, Texas Instruments, and was acting CTO at a spectacularly failed startup in San Francisco. He has presented at numerous conferences over the years, especially Embedded Linux Conference and Linux Plumbers Conference. Those topics were usually related to power management of embedded devices or advice on how to be a good Linux kernel maintainer (again, retired now).
